Housekeeping: Usually Included
Most Virgin Gorda houses include it, but how often varies from a weekly clean with a midweek tidy to daily service except Sundays. Ask which before you book.
Chef Extra
Chefs here are booked by the meal and plan the menu with you. Budget about $100 a person for dinner.
Pre-stocking the kitchen usually adds about 20% to the grocery bill. Tips aren't in the rate, and $10 to $20 per guest a day for villa staff is normal. The 10% accommodation tax is in the costing above. Damage deposits are set house by house.

Virgin Gorda has no jet airport. Most people fly into Beef Island (EIS) on Tortola, walk across to the dock at Trellis Bay and take Speedy's ferry, about 20 minutes to Spanish Town. Cape Air and Tradewind also fly small planes from San Juan straight into Virgin Gorda.
What Governs the Arrival Day
The last ferry. Speedy's runs several times a day from Trellis Bay, about $40 a person round trip, so pick a hub connection that lands you in daylight. Miss the last boat and a private water taxi runs about $400 to $650.
North Sound houses are a taxi ride on from Spanish Town, about $30. Fill in the free online ED card before you fly and expect a $10 arrival levy. The $50 departure fee is usually in your ticket.
