Daily housekeeping and a villa manager or concierge come with most top-end houses here. Butler cover and laundry vary by house.
Chef Extra
A chef is booked by the day, about $600 for two meals a day for 10. A few of the largest estates sell a chef-inclusive rate instead.
Most villas add a 10% service charge for the house staff on top of the 13% GST, and both are in the costing above. Some estates add an administration fee to extras charged to the villa account. Refundable deposit $2,500, not included above.

What Governs the Arrival Day
The boats, not the flights. The last shared boat leaves the St. Maarten airport dock at 5:30 PM, so land at SXM by about 4 PM. Private boats run later, but St. Maarten's port closes at 6 PM and late crossings need prior approval and cost more.
Going home, the last shared boat leaves Blowing Point at 3:30 PM, and the boat companies ask you to leave Anguilla three hours before your flight. The Miami nonstop avoids all of it.

Where to Stay in Anguilla
West End
The sunset side of the island, where most of the big beach houses sit. Meads Bay and Long Bay are the pick when the house on the sand is the whole point.
South Coast
Closest to the ferry at Blowing Point, so arrival day is short. The best value for the size, with five-bedroom houses from about $2,000 a night in February.
North and East
Quieter and more spread out, with the island's largest estates at Little Bay. The pick for big groups who put privacy ahead of a restaurant strip.
