Housekeeping: Usually Included
Most of our Punta Cana houses come with a housekeeper, and some add a butler or a cook. Ask what yours includes before you book.
Cook Extra
Where a cook isn't included, budget about $120 a day for a group of up to 10, with the food on top.
Tips aren't in the rate. About 10% of the rent, split among the staff, is normal. The 18% tax is in the costing above. There's no resort fee at Puntacana Resort or Cap Cana. Damage deposits are set house by house, often about $2,000.

Punta Cana International (PUJ) is the airport for all our houses here. Puntacana Resort is about 10 minutes away and Cap Cana 15 to 20 minutes. Bávaro is 25 to 35 minutes north.
What Governs the Arrival Day
The drive from the airport is short, and most houses arrange a van to meet you at PUJ. Everyone needs the free E-Ticket form for arrival, and one form covers up to seven people.
Inside the resorts, golf carts are how everyone gets around. Outside them, use a driver. The US State Department recommends a professional driver over driving yourself.

Where to Stay in Punta Cana
Puntacana Resort & Club
Most of our Punta Cana houses, inside the gated resort from Tortuga Bay and Hacienda to the beachfront at Arrecife and Corales. Most five-bedroom houses run about $1,100 to $2,600 a night in February.
Cap Cana
About a third of our houses, around the Punta Espada golf course and the marina just south. Five-bedroom houses mostly run about $2,200 to $3,800 a night in February, and the biggest estates sleep up to 26.
Bávaro
A handful of houses on the long public beach north of the airport. Cheaper than the gated resorts, but busier and without their beach clubs.
