Where to Stay in St. Barts
St. Jean
The most central neighborhood. Walking distance to the beach, shops, and a handful of good restaurants. Best for groups who want to be in the middle of things.
Gustavia
The harbour town. Yachts, boutiques, and the island's best dinner tables. Villas here tend to be smaller, so it suits couples and tighter groups.
Colombier
Larger estates with pool terraces that face the sunset. Quieter, more private, and where most of the big-group houses sit. A car is essential.
Flamands
Wide, calm beach with a residential, family feel. Less traffic than St. Jean and a slower pace. Good for groups who want space without the hillside drive.
