Beaches at Casa de Campo

Minitas Beach - Caribbean vacations wouldn’t be complete without a beautiful beach. Casa de Campo features a private beach at Minitas, located centrally in the resort and features a variety of water sports as well as a Beach club for snacks and drinks - be sure to try the famous piña coladas served in a fresh pineapple!

Catalina Island - Catalina Island is paradise island just six-square miles in size, located a short boat ride away from Casa de Campo. Immaculate private beaches surround the island which is part of the National Park del Este. A reef teeming with life is located just off the shore making it a top snorkelling spot in the area. There are three daily departures via boat from Casa de Campo - rates for the excursion are $41 per adults and $25 per child (ages 5-12).

Saona Island (Palmilla Beach) - Palmilla Beach is located on Saona island, another island part of the National Park and feels like a stereotypical deserted island you would see in films. The seas around the island are full of tropical fish making it a great snorkelling spot. Our local concierge can help book this unforgettable island excursion.

Golf at Casa de Campo

Golf is a way of life at Casa de Campo with three Pete Dye masterpieces to choose from: Teeth of the Dog, Dye Fore, and The Links. The courses wind through the resort and feature 27 jaw-dropping holes -including 7 oceanside, 7 cliffside, and many more with ocean and beach views.

Tennis at Casa de Campo

The La Terraza Tennis Centre features 13 courts and offers a variety of other services including private or group lessons from over 25 pros on staff. The courts are open 7 days per week, reservations are required and can be made through concierge.

The Marina at Casa de Campo

Casa de Campo Marina sits at the edge of the resort where the Chavon river meets the sea. It features 370 slips and is capable of hosting yachts up to 250’. The marina is home to a very active fishing club as well as art galleries, restaurants, and shops.

45,000 m2 Casa de Campo Marina features 370 slips for yachts and sailboats from 50 feet up to 250 feet. Each dock is equipped with electricity, water, telephone and cable TV. On it's main plaza, Plaza Portofino, and in Calle Barlovento you will find restaurants, shops, banks, art galleries, pharmacies, travel agencies, laundry facilities, supermarket and car and boat rentals. There is also a refueling station, customs and immigration services.

The Casa de Campo Yacht Club is now linked to the world famous Costa Smeralda Yacht Club which organize sailing races and offshore competitions on a national and worldwide scale. The yacht club also offers a service for boat repairs and storage for boats in transit.

Shooting at Casa de Campo

Featuring the most comprehensive shooting facility in the Caribbean, Casa de Campo offers a unique experience that many do not expect when vacationing in the Caribbean! Let the professional staff safely guide you throughout the 245-acre park which offers 3 main types of shooting: trap, skeet, and sporting clays.

Equestrian at Casa de Campo

The equestrian centre at Casa de Campo is among the best in the Caribbean and cares for the local residents horses but also offers teaching and guided trail rides to resort guests. Lessons for jumping, riding, and polo are all offered but the experienced staff.

Altos de Chavón at Casa de Campo

Altos de Chavón is an incredible sight to see - a replica 16th century Mediterranean village in the heart of Casa de Campo Resort. Crafted by the Dominican Architect Jose Antonio Caro and other local artisans, the village features a 5,000 seat amphitheatre for concerts, sweeping views of the river and sea, a museum, and local art galleries and workshops.
